Metaisland is an ambitious project aiming to create a disruptive metaverse supported by a real crypto economy, offering a unique social system and entertainment experience. The vision is to surpass traditional media like Television and the Internet. The primary goal is to address the issue of cryptocurrency's dependency on the real economy and create a stable coin that remains unaffected by macroeconomic factors.
The virtual world of Metaisland is divided into islands and driven by two tokens: ISL (value/governance) and WOK (stable coin). It focuses on gamification, offering a diverse range of activities and interactions. The metaverse is designed to run on TVs, video screens, and PCs/consoles to ensure broader accessibility. Metaisland also prioritizes scalability through a franchising system, enabling widespread adoption and profit opportunities for franchise owners. The ultimate vision is to replace the USD as a global currency, providing financial stability and independence in a virtual nation backed by real people and a thriving crypto economy.
The gamification is a a top notch AAA sandbox with an unique gameplay. It is taking place in a tropical island reminiscent of the series LOST, where the gameplay is similar to Uncharted with an engaging storyline, and using the blockchain technology at its core. Meta Island creates a virtual economy where the player can own, rent, tip others, and spend crypto in the game. It is possible to collect crypto, mine it, get rewarded, stack it and finally to swap the benefit of playing to an exchange to convert it to fiat. Some players may generate a passive income by playing. Meta Island will use NFT to provide unique abilities, items, and skins to the player through its online and in game marketplaces.

During his formative years, he also performed in various rock groups and orchestras, showcasing his musical versatility.
In the realm of 3D shaders and assets development, Nicolas's contributions are noteworthy. Starting in 2010, he returned to the world of gaming, developing assets for the Unity 3D platform. Technical Overview

The project's feature a mix of WEB2 and WEB3 to insure the delivery of both the blockchain/virtual economic activities. The front end is both Web2, Web3 and Unreal 5. The game can generate sustainable revenue through several mechanisms, such as pay to play monthly subscriptions, NFT sales, stacking rewards, and marketplace transactions.


The value token of Meta Island is named ISL. It is a Smart Contract ERC-20 on the Ethereum Smart Chain. The circulating supply is capped at 1B units total.
The stable named WOK coin will be first centralized to allow us to setup a viable economy, but will later on in the development be released to the public under the MIT license to insure, like Bitcoin or a wide usability. Once ready, the stable coin will be listed in order to be used as an inflation resistant and also a virtual economy currency.

Token Use case

ISL - The native digital cryptographically-secured fungible token of MetaIsland which is designed to be used solely as an interoperable utility token on the gaming ecosystem.
Use in game includes but is not limited to:
  • Purchase of items intra-game, like food, entertainment products, or skins.
  • Staking.
  • Purchase NFT in the NFT shop
  • Social use, tipping and bartering inside the game
  • Governance.
  • Buy Back, burning.
At no time the money of the player is at risk by the act of other's players. For instance, when the player dies in the game, he keeps his money. Also there is no possibility to steal the money of others.
WOK - it is a stable coin that is bridged with ISL in order to provide the intra economy stable currency. A 30 WOK beer will always cost the same. The prices of the play to earn or cost of the internal economy are adjusted to the ISL market price when the conversion occurs.
